Team Members at Open House Ministries, Homestead Sunday Evening
Please pray for Anthony McCulley, Kenna-Marie McCulley, Connor Case, Leslie Wiggins, Joanne and Jerry Penny, Michael Penny, Parker Penny, Helen Cummins, Phillip Ransbottom, Darla Petty and Linda Pigott, who are “on mission” for Central this week. They are the mission team from our church who are presenting a Bible school day camp at Open House Ministries in Homestead, FL, Monday through Friday. They are leading approximately 80 inner-city at-risk kids each day in Bible study activities, Scripture memorization, arts and crafts, music and recreation. It will be loads of fun, but also LOTS of HARD WORK!
Working in a multi-cultural setting away from home is also an opportunity for the team to grow as they serve others. There are 4 teenagers on this year’s team, and 3 are first-timers! Please pray for a deepened spiritual life for each of the participants as well as a productive ministry experience among the folks in Homestead. The team is depending on the prayer warriors at Central to continually petition God for energy and personal safety, as well as clarity of mission.
