I wanted to make you aware of 2 things for this coming Sunday that are important to our church.
- This Sunday, we will be observing communion together in the sanctuary for the first time since the pandemic. The deacons will be distributing the elements in ziploc bags, using latex gloves to hand them out. We will explain how communion will happen during the service, and anyone who does not feel comfortable does not have to participate. We want people to do what feels safe, but communion is an important part of our Bible passage for this Sunday.
- Immediately following worship, we will have a communication meeting regarding a motion that comes from the trustees. This is an important motion, and it affects how money is managed through the trustees. So please make sure that if you are able, you can be there. This meeting will be in the sanctuary, and live-streamed, so if you are not able to be there and you want to ask a question, I will have my phone turned on. You can send me a text, and I will make sure to answer it.
