PROJECT: Central on Mission: Here! AND in North Carolina
This Sunday, June 11, we will still be collecting small travel size personal care items to be given to homeless individuals here in our community and also in the NC community our mission team will visit in July. Our plan is to collect the following items and then Sunday (after VBS) following a church-wide potluck lunch, in assembly line manner, we will fill gallon-size zip plastic bags with these items. Our goal is to distribute 100 bags here in Daytona and 100 bags in North Carolina.
Urgently needed for Sunday for mission kits: Hair brush/comb, soap, shampoo, toothbrush/toothpaste, socks, lip balm, hand lotion, tissues, band-aids, deodorant, sunscreen, wash cloth, hair ties/clips, feminine hygiene products, packages of crackers, canned tuna, gallon-size zip bags.
