Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPs) gathers every second and fourth Monday at the church. Our summer break is over! Beginning August 13, mothers and their preschoolers will gather at Central from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Moms will enjoy breakfast and conversation while their children are engaged in fun and learning. All leaders are background screened and excited to provide opportunities for new friendships and fun.
Mary Ellen Schmitt is coordinating the team of folks who make this happen twice a month in our church buildings. All moms and preschool children from the surrounding area are encouraged to participate. You do not have to be affiliated with the church. All are welcome.
MOPS International has been building communities of moms and connecting women all over the world to embrace the journey of motherhood, together for over 40 years! It is our goal to establish a welcoming place here at Central for moms from every background, with any story, to meet Jesus. MOPS enables a genuine and engaging first-time church experience for both mothers and children, while intentionally helping them connect with each other. By providing safe child care and joyful leadership, moms are offered a much-needed break to pause and be reminded who they are, and to grow friendships with other moms in a caring atmosphere. Through this activity, our church can have a chance to connect with young families and intentionally provide encouragement and community at a time when mothers can easily feel isolated and overwhelmed!
MOPs features free breakfast for mothers and songs, snacks and fun for preschool children. There is no fee. See you there!
