About our Camp

A beautiful wilderness camp located on 116 acres bordering the Ocala National Forest. Rolling hills and flat forest land accentuated by a large chain of three lakes that are available for use of on-site water craft. The camp facilities consist of two large bunk-house style cabins that will accommodate up to 50 campers each. The are 2 separate private rooms for up to four counselors in each cabin.

The large dining hall/kitchen can serve 100 campers at a time. The kitchen is professionally equipped with all the appliances that a large restaurant would have and storage space (both dry and refrigerated) that can store supplies for several days. East of the dining hall is a big covered barbeque pit for cooking large meat items

The camp chapel is air-conditioned and is furnished with movable church style pews, a large stone fireplace and stage for use as a worship space, meetings or general recreational activities. There are tables for crafts and quite a few games. There are two restrooms in the chapel. A large covered pavilion sets on a hill overlooking the lake and is a great space for small for smaller outdoor gatherings or just relaxing to enjoy the beautiful sunsets and passing wildlife. Basketball and volley ball courts are just West of the chapel.

There is an Olympic style pool just North of the chapel that provides excellent swimming, fun water-sports and games as well as a good place to catch some sun rays. The row of cabins East of the pool is living space with full facilities for management, kitchen, safety and nursing staff.

A dock on the lake is available for fishing and a fire ring (permits required) for evening story telling or ceremonies. Canoes and other water-craft are available for use on the lake.(no motorized craft are allowed on the lake) There is a ball field East of the camper cabins for softball or other field games

The camp is used by Central Baptist Church for its Youth and Kids summer camps. Youth and children from everywhere are welcome to enroll in our camps for a fee. Some partial scholarships may be available. The camp may also be rented for daily or weekly rates during open periods by any groups willing to abide by our basic rules.
